Guenther grew up in Jackson, MS and has spent over 18 years in the
restaurant business. He started delivering pizzas while in high school,
and then spent 4 years in the Navy as an air traffic controller.
After seeing the world, Guenther attended school at the University
of South Alabama, and got back into the restaurant business. He spent
time managing kitchens at The Bakery Café, Bouis, and was
the Executive Chef at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Mobile for
4 years. Guenther brings an energetic and upbeat attitude to Roussos,
as his personal motto is: “Attitude determines altitude”.
When not cooking in the restaurant, Guenther enjoys spending time
with his wife Johnna, and daughter Josephine. He also enjoys gardening
and working around his yard.
